Sword-Swinging Zombie Slayer Brings Along Some Friends...

If you aren't watching AMC's The Walking Dead, then you're missing out on one of the best shows on television. Season three has got to be the best season yet, with each new episode more shocking then the last. Figures.com reporter Jorge Pelaez returns with another McFarlane Walking Dead figure review, this time taking a look at one of the newest - and coolest - characters to enter the show: MICHONNE. In addition to samurai-like sword-swinging zombie slayer skills, Michonne has many survival tricks up her sleeve. One trick includes the brilliant use of zombies as "pets". By removing their arms and jaws, Michonne has rendered these creatures harmless. Using chains as leashes, Michonne keeps these zombie close - their putrid smell acting as excellent zombie camouflage (not to mention a smart way to carry her gear).

McFarlane's Walking Dead TV Series 3 is hitting retail now. In addition to Michonne and her zombie pets, this assortment includes Autopsy Zombie and Merle Dixon.
