Bandai had plenty of reasons to celebrate at this year's Toy Fair as their iconic Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series entered its 20th season. The 20th Anniversary of the Power Rangers is being marked by the launch of Power Rangers Megaforce, an all-new live action TV series with a focus on special Power Cards. This unique show element is being introduced to the extensive toy line.

The Power Cards integrate and interact with Bandai's 2013 Power Rangers Megaforce toys. Every SKU in the line comes with at least one card that has many functions, giving the toy an even more extensive value and play pattern. Multiple role-play items are able to interact with any of the Power Cards and unlock unique sounds and phrases. The Power Cards can be played within the new Power Rangers Action Card Game (also by Bandai), and can be also used to explore new Power Rangers content through the Power Rangers Card Scanner App available for download on smartphones and tablets.

Legendary Rangers from past seasons, from the first Mighty Morphin incarnation through today’s Megaforce series, will also be featured throughout the Power Cards and the entire figure line.

Power Rangers Deluxe Gosei Morpher SRP: $29.99

Gosei, the ultimate symbol of good, has bestowed this Morpher to a group of not-so-average teenagers in order to save the earth from evil. Now the Power Rangers can gain superhuman strength, hi-tech weapons, and massive Zord vehicles, by inserting the Power Cards into the Morpher. Featuring lights and sounds, this Morpher opens to allow the placement of a Power Card inside – just like in the TV series. The Morpher comes with 10 Power Cards that unlock 10 phrases and sounds. Collect additional Power Cards to unlock even more phrases and sounds – over 180.

Historically, one of the most unique and compelling features of the Power Rangers line has been and continues to be Bandai's Zord Builder collection which includes Megazords, Zord Vehicles, and Zord Cycles. This system allows collectors to build show-accurate Zords and Megazords or an infinite number of their own fun Zord creations. For the 20th anniversary of Power Rangers, Bandai has created one more connection point to each of these new Zord Builder toys for added play value and more extensive play pattern.
