The record-breaking Walking Dead series on AMC continues to dominate TV ratings worldwide and McFarlane toys has revealed an abundance of new collectibles for 2013. With the latest TV action figure series expected to release any day now consisting of the sword-wielding Michonne, Pet 1, Pet 2, Merle Dixon and Autopsy zombie, the new assortment was on display along with a very cool blood-spattered black and white 3-pack consisting of Michonne and her 2 limbless pets. The next TV series of Walking Dead figures was also revealed and will consist of Carl Grimes, Andrea, the Governor and two different zombie figures in riot gear. While only a fully colored protype of the Carl figure was on display, the press release of series 4 was on display next to him along with a release date of October 2013 which is just in time for the premier of season 4.

The upcoming second series of the Walking Dead comic figures were also on display in unpainted protype form. The comic series which was originally cancelled by the manufacturer is making a comeback this June with a dynamite assortment of characters based on the prison storyline from the comics. The second series of comic-based figures will consist of:
The Governor - with interchangeable heads, mutilated arm, complete arm and assorted weapons
Penny - with bucket with severed body parts including Rock's severed hand, fish tank with three zombie heads (one of which can be used to create Michonne's second pet)

Michonne’s Pet - with removable arms, lower jaw and guts (additional pet can be assembles by taking an extra pet and attaching additional head included with Penny figure to complete the limbless duo)

This intricately-detailed statue features the sword-wielding Michonne in mid-air kicking one walker’s neck open while slicing another with her deadly katana. This limited edition piece will be signed by Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman and includes a certificate of authenticity signed by Todd McFarlane.
