    TF13: LEGO Star Wars

    The Force Is Strong Here...

LEGO has been cranking out incredible Star Wars sets for years, and there’s no shortage of cool new vehicles, playsets, and mini-figs on deck for 2013. If you’ve been to a LEGO store or Toys R Us you may have already seen this year’s initial offerings like the Clone Troopers vs. Droidekas, Republic Troopers vs. Sith Troopers, AT-RT, A-Wing, Z-95 Headhunter, Umbaran MHC, Battle of Hoth, and Rancor Pit. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Starting in March you’ll find more of the small planet series ($9.99 each) with Jedi Starfighter & Kamino, Republic Assault Ship & Coruscant, and TIE Bomber & Asteroid Field. Then in August the line expands even further with Snowspeeder & Hoth, B-Wing Starfighter & Endor, and Tantive IV & Alderaan.

Also due out in August is the Corporate Alliance Tank Droid ($24.99) with Clone Trooper, Jango Fett, and Battle Droid, Mandalorian Speeder ($24.99) with two Death Watch troopers and Darth Maul, Homing Spider Droid ($29.99) with a mini Spider Droid, Clone Trooper, Super Battle Droids, and a Jedi, and Duel on Geonosis with the cavern setting of the final scene there, Yoda, Darth Tyrannus and his speeder, a Geonosian, and a droid.

Larger sets coming in August include Jek-14’s Stealth Starfighter ($89.99) with multiple mini-figs, a very cool new AT-TE ($119.99) with Mace Windu, Coleman Trebor, a Clone Trooper, and Battle Droids, Jabba’s Sail Barge ($119.99) with lots of interior features, the Hutt, Slave Leia, R2, Max Reebo, and more, and finally a new version of the Republic Gunship ($149.99) with launching missiles, special features, and a whole host of mini-figs!

Finally, September will bring the 2013 Star Wars LEGO Advent Calendar with the usual assortment of new mini ships and mini-figs in special decos.
