An Evil Awakened, A New Battle Begun...
Transformers Prime has been entertaining us on the Hub for the last couple years, and it’s about to get even more intense with its transition to Beast Hunters! The cross-platform event will affect everything from the show itself to toys, digital/online interactivity, a new comic series, and much more. Toys are scheduled to come out next week (though they’ve been hitting stores early), and the full online experience begins on the 18th; the new season of the show starts in the Spring. Newly shown at Toy Fair were Legion class Prowl with Justice Hammer and Hun-Gurrr with Dragontooth Saw. The Commander scale adds Starscream with Thunder Talon and Shockwave with Hyperflux Cannon. On the Deluxe track is Ratchet with Dragon Grinder Drill, Dreadwing with Dread Assault Cannon (that turns into a chainsaw), and Skystalker with Cryostrike Disc Launcher. Joining the Voyagers are Shockwave with Hyperflux Cannon and removable Beast Armor (so you can display him in his original look or his current one!), Ultra Magnus with Forge of Solus Prime, and Grimwing (a mythical Ursagrifff) with Blackbeak Grapple Launcher. Finally, the big toys are Beast Hunter Optimus Prime with Spinning Dragon Cannons (comes with sword and shield, a spinning ring of launching dragon heads, lights, and more), and Beast Fire Predaking (21 inch wingspan, light up fire breath, snapping bite, a tail that becomes a sword, etc.)!
When the new site launches you’ll be able to join the hunt and battle! There will be mini-games, lots of info about characters and the story, Shockwave’s lab to explore, and even a new Bot Shots Beast Battling game!
