More Ultimate Spider-Man Toys And Avengers Assemble On The Way...

One of the top cartoons for kids right now is Ultimate Spider-Man, and Hasbro has plenty of fun toys from it on store shelves. Kids can recreate the action with figures of Spidey, his friends, and of course his dastardly enemies. All new toys are coming out now while Season 2 airs on TV. Power Webs figures feature “flex and fire” technology; utilize the built in string-like “webs” to power cool actions. The next figures from that line include Doc Ock and Wingsuit Spider-Man, while the Stunt Launch Spider Cycle zooms out of the cartoon with a launching ramp. Rapid Fire Web Blast Spider-Man is a new 12 inch figure due out in the Fall; it’s a huge toy with lights, sounds, and of course rapid-firing web launchers! In the more traditional 6 inch figure line this March will see Wave 2 with S.H.I.E.L.D. Tech Spider-Man, Doc Ock, and Web Whirlwind Spider-Man.

New this year is the Avengers Assemble cartoon, coming in the summer. Alongside that show Hasbro unveiled a new Micro Muggs multipack with cute little versions of Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, and the Hulk, due out in the Fall. AA will also have a 3 ¾ inch figure line. Of the ten figure first wave coming out in the Fall they showed Captain America, Hawkeye, and a very evil looking Red Skull.

Not a cartoon but still focused toward the kids are the new figures from the upcoming Wolverine movie. Due out in June is a line of 6 inch Legends: Cyclops, Wolverine, Sabretooth, Emma Frost, Phoenix 5 Cyclops, and Rogue, with a Build-A-Figure of Puck! There will also be a series of 5-point articulated 3 ¾ inch “All Star Wolverine” figures: Logan, Sword Slash Silver Samurai, Warrior Claw Wolverine, and a Shadow Strike Ninja.
