With the Black series taking over the super articulated and multi-accessoried figures, the new Saga series steps up to bring the great Star Wars figures to kids. These new 3 ¾ inch figures are easily collected and perfect for young fans with a price point of only $5.99. How often do you see that in the toy aisles these days? The Saga figures have the classic 5 points of articulation (just like the original Kenner figures). Among the first wave will be Mace Windu, Clone Trooper, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, R4, Super Battle Droid, Yoda, and a Clone Shock Trooper.

Want more figures for an even better deal? “Mission Series” packs partner two regular figures for $9.99. The first wave includes Darth Vader and a Seeker Droid, “Sith” Anakin Skywalker and a 501st Clone Trooper, Jango Fett and a Battle Droid, and a Clone Trooper and Battle Droid.

The Saga Collection will also feature Class II Vehicles scaled down a bit for the new figures. The first will be Obi-Wan’s Episode 2 Starfighter, Slave I, Republic Fighter Tank, and Anakin’s Episode 3 Starfighter.

For larger scale fun, Star Wars is branching into 12 inch figures with Anakin Skywalker, a Clone Trooper, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Darth Vader. These are similar to the new Saga 3 ¾ inch figures with five points of articulation and a lot of character. A really cool figure is the 12 inch Anakin to Darth Vader. First it’s Anakin Skywalker with a light up blue lightsaber and sound clips. Then, you put on armor pieces and the iconic helmet and he becomes Darth Vader; press the buttons again and the lightsaber is red and it plays Vader sounds!
