    S.H. MonsterArts KING KONG

Based on Peter Jackson's 2005 Remake...

Bluefin Tamashii Nations has released new details and photos of their S.H. MonsterArts King Kong, a figure first announce back at New York Comic con (see HERE). Based on the giant gorilla's look in Peter Jackson’s 2005 remake, King Kong features mulitple facial expressions to fully capture the spirit of the character. In addition to his normal, contemplative face, a roaring and threatening face, and the playful face are included as well. The S.H. MonsterArts King Kong also features ample articulation that allows for quadruped motion and bipedal fighting stances.

S.H. MonsterArts King Kong is scheduled to ship in April 2013 priced at around $67 US.

How tall is it? Put a Marvel Universe or a GI Joe figure next to it please.

No way to compare as the figure has not been released yet. However, the S.H. MonsterArts series is 6-inch scale, so somewhere around 6 inches tall.
