RZA teamed up with animation director Eric Calderon (co-producer of the Afro Samurai TV mini-series) on a three-minute prequel called "The Encounter," which touches on the backstory of RZA's character, Blacksmith.

In addition, Universal Pictures and Ignition Print are commemorating the November 2 release of The Man With the Iron Fists with an outdoor series of collectable posters. Graphic artists from around the world have united to create a unique 16-piece tear-off and take-away outdoor poster series that promotes the new action-adventure.
