New Images of First Two Releases: Rorschach and Dr. Manhattan...

As reported to you with our Comic-Con 2012 Mattypalooza Wrap-Up (HERE), Mattel is introducing a new 2013 subscription: Watchmen Club Black Freighter. The club, which has four more days to go on MattyCollector.com, will offer subscribers six (6) comic style Watchmen figures, one releasing every other month. January will kick things off with Rorschach (pictured above), with Dr. Manhattan following in March (pictured below). Mattel won't reveal the rest, but has said the figures will be of the core Watchmen superheroes, no Minutemen. In other words, fans can expect Nite Owl, Comedian, Silk Spectre and Ozymandias to round out the assortment.
