Quantum Mechanix (QMx) set up camp at San Diego Comic-Con with a variety of statues and replicas from a slew of properties including Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica and Doctor Who. The latter was represented by a stunning new 1:6th scale TARDIS (pictured above), the prototype showing off a detailed replica of the Time Lord's iconic time machine. No word on price or release date yet.

Star Trek was another eye catcher, a huge replica of the USS Enterprise-D from Star Trek: The Next Generation and USS Kelvin from the 2009 Star Trek movie both front and center. Each extremely detailed replicas (with working lights) will be limited to 50 pieces. The Enterprise D is expected to ship in September (in time for The Next Generation's 25th anniversary) and the Kelvin is "Coming Soon" - a 2013 release most likely. Serious Trekkies for these only - pricing will be in the several thousand dollar range. QMx hopes to have an official announcement regarding the upcoming Star Trek movie sequel soon.

Another amazing piece on display was the Viper Mark II Artisan Replica from the new Battlestar Galactica series. Available now priced at $1,499.95, the Viper is being offered in three editions: Adama Edition, Starbuck Edition and Fleet Edition. The limit has been set for 500 replicas per edition. In addition to a cool pulsating lighting effect on the engines, the interior of the cokcpit featured one of the neatest digital effects I've seen: the remote sensing system in action, displaying the actual DRADIS video used in Battlestar Galactica.

Check out all these great items and more, including QMx's range of "Little Damn Hero" maquettes, in the photo gallery link below.
