Japanese toy maker Kotobukiya continues to carve itself out a corner of the American collectibles market with it's attractive Bishoujo and ARTFX statues from a variety of hot licenses.

Exciting news at Comic-Con was the announcement of new Men In Black X Bishoujo Statues. The first release will be a MIB3 "Agent G". Whether displayed alone or with Koto's Ghostbusters Bishoujo Statue "Lucy," the piece is sure to please fans. On the video game front, Koto showed off their first Mass Effect Bishoujo Liara T'soni with more news that Commander Shepherd will receive both a male ARTFX statue and a female Bishoujo statue. The awesome Tekken Yoshimitsu fine art statue and Koto's Tekken Bishoujo statues (including SDCC exclusive Alisa Bosconovich variant) were on display, as well as concept art of an upcoming Street Fighter X Tekken Chun-Li Bishoujo Statue. Another big announcement is that fans will soon be receiving a Dead Space Isaac Clarke ARTFX statue!

Anime properties were represented with a variety of collectibles, including those from Neon Genesis Evangelion (the upcoming Mari Illustrious Ani*Statue), Koto's new D-Style series of super-deformed robot model kits, and a new Ani*Statue of Yu-Gi-Oh!'s Yami Yugi (regular version). Yu Yu Hakusho ARTFX J Statues bring the classic anime characters to life with Hiei, Kurama, and Yusuke.

Marvel's Avengers assembled with all of Koto's "Classics" Art Statues on display, as did X-Force with the currently available Warpath, X-23, Deadpool, and Archangel plus upcoming Wolverine! New reveals included the first public appearance of the Venom statue, the companion piece to Koto's Spider-Man Art Statue, in addition to the first public appearance of the Jim Lee-style Cyclops and Daredevil. The Avengers movie Iron Man Mark VII ARTFX Statue awed Con-goers with realism.

For DC, Batman took the stage with an upcoming DKR Batman ARTFX Statue as well as a Batman statue featuring Batman vs. Joker. The New 52 Justice League ARTFX Statue series made a debut with Superman and Green Lantern on display. Stylish, blocky Korejanai mini Justice League figures also made an appearance, adding a little variety to Koto's more serious and sexy DC offerings.

Star Wars was represented by Koto's ARTFX Commander Cody, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Vader, and Yoda. New ARTFX+ included the reveal of a Celebration VI exclusive R2-A6, as well as C3-PO & R2-D2, Darth Vader, Imperial Guards, Stormtroopers, Boba Fett (ESB and RotJ versions), and a new upcoming Jango Fett.
