ADVANCE REVIEW: NECA's SDCC Exclusive EAGLE VISION EZIO AUDITORE

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Comes Using His Special Gift...

    * PLEASE NOTE: Packaged photos of Ezio Auditore do not have a "SDCC 2012 Exclusive" sticker. The figure you buy at the show WILL.

If you've played Assassin's Creed, your familiar with Eagle Vision...and, if you're good, Eagle Sense. It's this unique sixth sense which allows a player to fully experience their surroundings and utilize their abilities, finding hidden passageways, trouble spots, and targets. Now, thanks to NECA, attendees at this year's San Diego Comic Con will be able to pick up Ezio Auditore as he's seen in the game with Eagle Vision activated - an astral blue...and complete with eagle accessory.

A completely unique figure to the current line of Assassin's Creed series, Eagle Vision Ezio is constructed of translucent blue parts and pieces (including the joints!) making this one piece that'll stand out on a collector's display shelf. The non-translucent parts of the figure (the shoulder wrap, skirt, belt, buckles and armor pieces) are made of a light blue plastic which has been highlighted with white to help give it a sense of translucence. This keeps with the character's look in the game and retains the overall authenticity of the figure's appearance.

This exclusive figure - like the originally released Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Ezio figure which features the identical sculpt - includes all of the original's articulation, providing plenty of poseability for fans looking to pose this along with their other Player Select figures.

Also like the original Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Ezio figure, this exclusive includes three sets of hands: one relaxed/weapon holding, one palm open, and one set of fists. This provides for a number of combinations for collectors. Besides the extra hands, the figure of course includes two hidden blades, one on each arm/gauntlet. Lastly, the figure includes a completely unique accessory available no where else: an eagle. The eagle, able to be posed on Ezio's arm or on the included stand, provides an unique accessory which will surely be popular with fans and collectors.

Overall, the 2012 San Diego Comic Con EAGLE VISION EZIO AUDITORE is an impressive piece which will be a "must have" for die-hard Assassin's Creed fans and Player Select fans alike. Featuring an impressive sculpt accurate to the game and made of an impressive collection of transparent and lightly colored parts and pieces, a paint application which accurately captures the character's look in the game, plenty of articulation, and a nice selection of accessories (including the very impressive articulated eagle!), the EAGLE VISION EZIO AUDITORE may be the one exclusive die-hard fans won't want to miss.

However, if you're a die-hard fan and unable to attend Comic Con this year, you may be out of luck or spending more than you had originally planned. Comic Con is going to be the ONLY way to get this figure as NECA has announced they will not be offering this or their other SDCC exclusives for sale online through their club or Amazon storefronts. No doubt other retailers and attendees will have pieces for sale at a higher cost during and after the show.

Grab your SDCC Exclusive EAGLE VISION EZIO AUDITORE at NECA's booth #3145 priced at $25.
