Recently, Figures.com had the great pleasure to visit World Events Productions, the global license holder for "The Defender of the Universe": VOLTRON. We'll have a full report on that fantastic voyage in the days ahead, but until then enjoy a first packaged look at Mattel's upcoming Blue Lion in our photo gallery HERE. Part of MattyCollector's 2012 Club Lion Force subscription, the Blue Lion is the right leg of the fully formed Voltron (only Black and Green to go!). The Blue Lion includes a pilot action figure - the lovely Princess Allura - taking over the controls after the untimely passing of former pilot Sven (which will see release later this year as a solo-packed club exclusive figure).
