Bethesda's epic fantasy series to receive massively multiplayer online...
If you thought spending months playing The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was bad (or is that good?), prepare to hand over your life. Developer Bethesda has just announced that they are working on The Elder Scrolls Online, a massively multiplayer interpretation of their popular fantasy video game franchise. The June issue of Game Informer (cover pictured above) promises more details, but the MMO is reported to be set a thousand years before the events of Skyrim. The game, scheduled to come out in 2013 for both PC and Macintosh, is being developed by Bethesda's sister company Zenimax Online Studios.
Like my plea for Call of Duty collectibles yesterday (see HERE), Bethesda's immersive games also demand toys; not just based on Elder Scrolls, but for my all-time favorite, Fallout, as well (read my story "Where's My Figures of FALLOUT 3?" HERE). Toy companies... make it so!
