    Dark Horse's FUTURAMA Squishy Toys (2002- 2003)

Horrible Gelatinous Blobs and Brain Slugs for the stressed out masses...

Back in Futurama's prime, multiple toy companies scrambled for a piece of the collectible pie. MAC had done action figures, Rocket USA was on die-cast and tin toys and Dark Horse took on... squishy toys? Ah, but these weren't your ordinary squishy toys, but fun and cool representations of some of Futurama's more oddball characters, including the Horrible Gelatinous Blob and the parasitic Brain Slug (pictured below). The squishy format was a perfect fit, even if it wasn't the most enduring material (mine have long since dried out and lost their gooey life).
