As announced last year (see our story HERE), Kotobukiya was diving into the video gaming world with a new Bishoujo series based on BioWare's hit sci-fi title, Mass Effect. The first release - the exotic Asari alien Liara T'Soni - is slated for release in April priced at a SRP of $59.99. Note the base she is standing on in the picture above. Fans will have the option of several graphics that they can place there, the Mass Effect logo being one, the other the N7 logo. In addition, the Liara T'Soni Bishoujo will include code for some downloadable material (TBD - could be armor, a weapon) for use with Mass Effect 3.
Following T'Soni will be a Bishoujo of Commander Shepard, female, of course. A male Commander Shepard will be getting is due, however, as Kotobukiya told us that an ArtFX statue is in the works.
Tekken was represented at Toy Fair as well, Koto displaying their amazing Yoshimitsu Fine Art Statue (pictured below - shipping in June, $449). More images of the Yoshimitsu statue can be found HERE. New Tekken Bishoujo include Christie Monteiro due out this month (see our story HERE) and future fighters JC, Emilie de Rochefort, and Asuka Kazama.
