Thinkway Toys recently released a new-and-improved talking Buzz Lightyear action figure to go along with Toy Story 3, but way back in 1995 with the release of the original Toy Story, THIS was the hot money item. I know this because I put it upon myself to find one that year the day after Thanksgiving... on Black Friday. I was visiting relatives in Roanoke, Virginia and anyone familiar with the city knows it is primarily made up of restaurants and shopping malls. I hit every mall - three, I believe - and countless other retail outlets looking for this figure. Long story short, I eventually found the coveted talking Buzz Lightyear action figure that day. I also walked away with a very valuable life lesson: Never shop on Black Friday again.
