The movie-accurate Superman collectible is specially crafted based on the image of Christopher Reeve as The Man of Steel, highlighting the authentic head sculpt, movie-accurate costume and figure stage imitating the Fortress of Solitude.

Likeness

It's been said repeatedly, and it's a point I'd like to underscore again here, as it's a testament to the monumental talent Hot Toys has been able to secure in the creation of their 1:6 figures... in that we unfailingly expect perfection from them. I mean Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum level of quality and likeness. They've set the bar high, and our expectations have risen along with it, sometimes to a point where nothing less than absolute perfection will make us happy. High expectations notwithstanding, I dare to say Hot Toys successfully delivers in the likeness department the majority of the time. In the case of this set, their likeness of Christopher Reeve as Superman is no different, down to the trademark Superman hair curl.

Unable to convince the ruling council of Krypton that their world will destroy itself soon, scientist Jor-El takes drastic measures to preserve the Kryptonian race: He sends his infant son Kal-El to Earth.
