NECA provides a packaged look at the chase figure of Damon Baird, part of their second assortment of Gears of War 3 action figures starting to hit retail now.

Limited to less than 1000 figures produced, this rare chase figure packs a Gold Retro Lancer Rifle.

The Damon Baird chase figure follows Series 1's variant Anya Stroud with Pink Lancer Rifle (see our story HERE).

This is not nearly as creative as the "Deadly pink" lancer given to Anya Stroud. And seeing as a gold retro lancer is included with the 'Unarmored' Marcus figure, it won't be nearly as popular either. There are plenty of skins and camo's to choose from, making gold quite a dull colour for your rifle now! Try a pit of Liquid metal or Rainbow, to peak my interests.

That's exactly what I thought when it was announced. Oh well, at least they are releasing some chase figures to keep it interesting.
