Sometimes you don't know how good you have it until it's gone. Such is the case for me with McFarlane's Dragons. At the time I only collected the aquatic fantasy lizards, you know, to have a focus and not overindulge in the line (like I had done with oh so many past McFarlane series). The plan worked... until it was announced that Series 8 would be the last for these fabled creatures. Looking back I wish I had collected them all; each release an imaginative treat, something sorely lacking in today's heavily licensed toy market.
