    In back to back press releases today, Bif Bang Pow! announced the acquisition of two classic 70's properties from NBCUniversal: Battlestar Galactica and The Six Million Dollar Man.

    Based on the "classic" series that first aired on network TV in 1978, the Battlestar Galactica collection from Bif Bang Pow! will feature an array of 8-inch articulated retro action figures, as well as bobble heads. Various fan-demanded Battlestar Galactica themed collectibles such as license plate frames, tin boxes, coasters, snow globes, and glassware will be produced as well.

    Bif Bang Pow!'s Six Million Dollar Man collection will present an array of 8-inch articulated retro action figures and bobble heads of fan-favorite Col. Steve Austin and other memorable characters, as well as a number of Six Million Dollar Man themed collectibles like license plate frames, tin boxes, coasters, snow globes, and glassware.

    This is pretty cool news. I hope BBP's 3 3/4 inch Venture Brothers figures work out, and then maybe they can apply that scale to more of these properties!

    Yeah I'm not into the Mego-retro or Bobblehead thing either.

    7" figs for me please. BBP really wowed me with their Flash Gordon line so I know what they're capable of when they want to do it.

    (And while we're at it, I still want a 7" Rod Serling fig from them too!)
