As reported to you last month (see our story HERE), NECA will be releasing a new 1/4 scale GORT Predator action figure (approximately 18 inches tall) by year's end. Pictured above is one of our first looks at the figure in prototype form demonstrating the packaging layout.

The 1/4 scale GORT Predator is based on NECA's SDCC 2011 8" inch figure exclusive. It will feature all the details of the exclusive, including skull and spine accessory and new left hand. Like the previous 1/4 Predator releases, the 1/4 scale Gort Predator will be limited to 5000 pieces. No variants are planned. It is scheduled for release later this year.
