    PANEL: A VIP Look at the Upcoming Entries in Namco Bandai's Fighting Games

    Saturday, July 23, Room 25ABC, 4:00pm-5:00pm

    Director Katsuhiro Harada discusses the development of Tekken across Transmedia entertainment, including a sneak peek at the Tekken: Blood Vengeance 3D movie with special guests Blood Vengeance screenwriter Dai Sato and two voice actresses from the movie, Carrie Keranen and Cristina Vee. Producer Hiroshi Matsuyama unveils details and a preview of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations, and producer Hisaharu Tago shows the latest on Soulcalibur V. Namco Bandai vice president of marketing Carlson Choi and community manager Richard Bantegui (aka @Filthierich) lead the discussion to offer insights on the creative process and development of fighting games in this era.

    Come one come all to the Official SDCC TEKKEN TOURNAMENT featuring a $20,000 Prize Pool and other assorted gift prizing. Entrance to the tournament is free and first come first served until all brackets are filled. With 3 tournaments running each day, there will be plenty of chances to test your mettle. A live steam from the room will be running all weekend long for fans that cannot attend, featuring live play-by-play commentary By SDTekken's Mark "MARKMAN" Julio & NBGA's Richard "FilthieRich" Bantegui. Attendees will also have the chance to meet the developers from the Tekken Project Team and Project Soul Team while getting their first chance to play Tekken Tag HD.

    All SDCC attendees are invited to get their very first up close and personal hands-on look at the action from two of the most exciting franchises in anime and fighting game history! Don’t miss an early sneak peek at Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi making its North American debut on the floor allowing fans to deliver the kamehameha long before it hits store shelves on October 25th, 2011 for PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360. Fans will also get a chance to try-out BOTH of the upcoming CyberConnect2-developed games based on the worldwide phenomenon known as Naurto. The upcoming Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact for the PSP system will be on hand for fans to check out the dynamic blend of action and strategy before it launches in Fall 2011. And last but not least, the upcoming Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations will also be ready for fans to get a sneak peek before it launches on home consoles in 2012.
