Hideo Kojima, the creator of the Metal Gear video game series, surprised fans via twitter with images of a new Play Arts Kai action figure: GRAY FOX, the cyborg ninja. The reveal gives fans hope that even more classic Metal Gear characters are planned for the future, including our favorite fighter Raiden, who stars in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Rising.

Produced by Square Enix, the Metal Gear Play Arts Kai series already includes notable characters such as several versions of Snake (read our review HERE) and a host of mech bosses (review HERE).

I'll be a sad panda if they don't include the Grey Fox head to go with that cannon arm, but either way this thing is beyond bought right now. Looks freakin amazing even without paint. And hell, you pay almost play arts price now jus to get the old McFarlane one.

This has to be the coolest looking cyborg ninja figure EVER! Can't wait to get a couple of them - have to have 2: one w/ blade and covered face and one with gun arm and open mask (if they make it, which they have to; it was such an important scene in the game!!)
