Many toy companies have tackled the Universal Monsters, but few have had such an extensive collection of the classic creatures as Sideshow Toys. Captured in plastic as 2" Little Big Heads, 8" and 12" action figures, as well as numerous sculpted pieces, Sideshow's Universal Monsters range represented every conceivable monster - from horror icons like Bela Lugosi as Dracula to lesser known screen screams such as the Metaluna Mutant. The 8 inch series alone was 5 waves deep - the monsters depicted in both full color and retro black and white, not to mention numerous exclusives such as glow-in-the-dark variants. Pictured here are a few of the card back bios I managed to save.

    Re: Sideshow Toys' UNIVERSAL MONSTERS

A great line that I am still working on completing today (expensively)

These disappeared from stores waay to fast.

I wish Sideshow hadn't abandonned this line in favor of 12" GI Joe style dolls and expensive statues and busts that I can only afford (at most) 1 a year of.
