    Kenner's ALIEN RESURRECTION (1997)

There's no stopping Ripley, even if she's dead.

Though far from my favorite film in the franchise, Alien Resurrection did have some redeeming qualities in it's great alien design. These action figures did an adequate job of capturing the cool creatures, the Warrior Alien being the best of the bunch. While not in the movie, the Aqua Alien is a pretty cool toy as well. I passed on all the human characters and especially panned the Newborn Alien, which was the worst part of the movie for me.

Ah, the Alien Resurrection toy line. Not the best figures ever made, but yeah, some definite standouts. To this day we've got an Aqua Alien hanging out in our bathroom, and this line was the only way to get a toy of the Betty ship (which is scaled pretty well to Micro Machines). Sadly, above and beyond the somewhat iffy toy designs were pretty poor materials - lots of soft and sticky plastic.

Yuppers, I have that little Betty as well. Shame they never made a bigger one (or even a superior small one - that one's like an eraser - great ship design. And yes on the poor materials - all my aliens are doing serious splits due to wilting legs.
