Being a fan of modern military weapons, I found this bit of information interesting. Sideshow Collectibles states that their upcoming 12-inch Cobra Viper action figure (currently available for pre-order HERE) will come armed with the 5.56 caliber Masada Adaptive Combat Weapon System, seen for the first time in 1:6 scale. Sideshow had this to say about the cool firearm:

Designed by Magpul Military Industries Corp., the Masada is an innovative evolution of the veritable AR-15/M-16 platform. Designed to be a lightweight and reliable battle rifle, the Masada is a modular, gas-piston operated rifle constructed of steel and fiber-reinforced polymer. Key features include a full length Picatinny 1912 std. rail at the 12:00 position for mounting optics, a short length rail at the 6:00 position for foregrips, lights or other accessories, an adjustable length and folding stock and polymer 30-round Magpul P-Mags.
