Tekken, Splinter Cell, Devil May Cry, more...

Toy Fair 2011 coverage brought to you by the following fine sponsors: BigBadToyStore.com, Sekaido.com, and Collectibles Insurance.

Triad Toys had a strong showing at Toy Fair displaying numerous 1:6th scale product from their many in-house properties, as well as new licensed surprises. From their Ternion Wars series was the busty beauty "Riza", the Bentenrai Brothers from Lone Wolf And Cub, "Jason" from Legends, as well as a massive resin diorama called the Partheon (shipping now and able to hold two 12" figures).

The largest piece on display was a new mixed-media statue from Tekken 6: Jin Kazama. Triad announced that future Tekken character releases (Devil Jin was confirmed) would not only be receiving statues, but 12" action figures as well.

The coolest news came from product that was not on display. Triad informed us that they now have the license for Ubi-Soft's Splinter Cell. A statue of Sam Fisher from the most recent entry - Splinter Cell: Conviction - is planned as a statue (with light-up base and goggles) while classic Sam will receive a 12" action figure.

Devil May Cry will also be receing the figure/ statue treatment. Fans can look forward to DMC 3 characters Trish, Lady and Dante as figures, as well as a fine statue of our hero, Dante.
