It has been a long and arduous journey for these creepy collectibles from Geek Toys (geektoyscollectibles.com), but the Seven Deadly Sins are finally on the way. First announced back in 2009 (see our story HERE), the Seven Deadly Sins have encountered production delays and a change in format. Originally planned to be a line of action figures, the Seven Deadly Sins are now a series of finely crafted resin statues. Pictured is a look at the first two releases - Gluttony (top) and Pride (below) - both shown in final production form. These statues are locked for May 2011 delivery with U.S. distribution being handled by PBM Express. Pre-orders are currently being accepted at BigBadToyStore.com with each statue priced at $109.99.

Gluttony and Pride will be followed throughout the year by the remaining Deadly Sins: Wrath, Greed, Envy, Sloth and Lust.

I've got one of these ordered but I think they'd sell a whole lot more if these were still figures instead of statues...
