Code Lyoko, which debuted on the Cartoon Network in 2004, was an animated series popular in France, gaining some traction here in the States. Oddly enough, toys weren't released until 2006, a year before the series ended. Even stranger was the fact that Marvel Toys made them. Formerly Toy Biz, Code Lyoko was one of Marvel Toys' first licenses; aquired after their formation and after losing the Marvel superhero license to Hasbro. Marvel Toys that didn't make Marvel toys... umm, yeah. I picked up Blok, a unique cube creature with legs that launched missiles from its eyes. Strange, just like the circumstances surrounding it.
