AMC has announced that its newest original series, The Walking Dead, will premiere on Halloween night, Sun., Oct. 31 at 10PM/ 9C. The Sunday night series will debut with a 90-minute premiere episode. Subsequent episodes will be one-hour long presentations.

In addition, the official four and a half-minute trailer first screened at Comic-Con is now available online in full-screen HD HERE.

The Walking Dead - written, produced and directed by Frank Darabont - follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, traveling in search of a safe and secure home after a zombie apocalypse.
