During our whirlwind coverage of San Diego Comic-Con, numerous new action figure licenses were announced by NECA. Slated for release in 2011, these collectible properties range from the latest video game titles to iconic movie greats. Below you'll find a handy summary of what licenses have been announced and what action figures have been confirmed...

DEAD SPACE 2

Isaac Clarke returns for another bloody adventure against the twisted Necromorphs in this anticipated January, 2011 video game. Having masterfully sculpted Isaac from the first game, it's only natural that NECA follows up with an action figure of our hero donning his sleek new armored suit. NECA has confirmed that the new Isaac Clarke will feature light-up LEDs like the original and that a Necromorph (shown as a prototype at Toy Fair 2010) will also see release.

THE TERMINATOR

Following three waves of Terminator 2 action figures, NECA will dive into the movie that started it all. While it is too early for NECA to discuss who we will be getting in their first Terminator assortment, they have confirmed that sculpting is underway. We have our fingers crossed for Arnold decked out in studded punker jacket, shades, "Uzi nine millimeter" and ".45 long slide, with laser sighting." "Phased plasma rifle in the 40-watt range" optional.

SCREAM

Wes Craven's horror masterpiece is receiving a fourth movie installment next year and NECA will be along for the thrill ride. An action figure of the Ghostface killer has been confirmed. The figure may not be movie specific, but rather based more on his iconic look in the slasher series. Sculpting is underway.

CRYSIS 2

This upcoming first-person shooter developed by Crytek and published by Electronic Arts is the sequel to the popular 2007 title. Unlike the PC-only Crysis Warhead, Crysis 2 will be unleashed on all major consoles, including the PS3 and Xbox 360. The game brings an awesome new look to our hero character - "Alcatraz" - as he takes out an alien infestation in New York City. NECA will be releasing Alcatraz in Nanosuit 2 Armor, which they state will be "loaded with articulation". Other Crysis 2 character figures are possible.

GEARS OF WAR 3

EPIC's hit sci-fi video game series continues in 2011 and NECA will be once again behind the action figures. Slated for release with the game March/April 2011, the new 7-inch scale Gears of War 3 figures will feature a massive 37+ points of articulation - the most yet in a NECA action figure. Shown at San Diego Comic-Con were prototypes of the first two confirmed figures: Marcus Fenix (slated for Wave 1) and Dominic "Dom" Santiago (Wave 2). NECA has also confirmed that Baird, Cole, and Anya will be produced, among others too early to announce.

BULLETSTORM

In addition to Gears of War 3, EPIC will be delivering a new title produced by People Can Fly: Bulletstorm. The buzz for this over-the-top shooter is quickly gaining momentum, with new footage demonstrating the game's unique "skillshot" gameplay reward system. Bulletstorm encourages you to be creative with your kills and promises hours of fun carnage. NECA has confirmed that they will be releasing an action figure of space pirate Grayson Hunt, the game's gun-toting, electric-whip-snapping hero.
