NECA had a gorgeous 2-up painted prototype of their CLAPTRAP action figure on display at Comic-Con.

Slated for release this October, the comedy relief of Gearbox's hit shoot 'em up video game Borderlands will stand approximately 4 inches tall (not including antenna or base) and will include a display base to pose him on. The figure will feature a wide range of articulation to recreate ClapTrap's in-game movement, including fully articulated arms, antenna, working shocks, and a wheel that can roll and pivot. His chest drawer even pulls in and out. NECA will also incorporate sound from the game - a variety of phrases between 10-20 seconds in length. An SRP of $13.99-$14.99 is expected.

NECA told us there are no immediate plans for anymore Borderlands figures at this time, but they are eyeing the planned sequel closely.
