    Warner Home Video, in conjunction with DC Entertainment, Warner Premiere and Warner Bros. Animation, presents the World Premiere of BATMAN: UNDER THE RED HOOD at Comic-Con International on Friday, July 23 at 8:00pm in Ballroom 20 of the San Diego Convention Center.

    The eighth entry in the ongoing series of DC Universe Animated Original PG-13 Movies, BATMAN: UNDER THE RED HOOD finds the Dark Knight facing his ultimate challenge as the mysterious Red Hood takes Gotham City by firestorm. One part vigilante, one part criminal kingpin, Red Hood begins cleaning up Gotham with the efficiency of Batman, but without following the same ethical code. And when The Joker falls in the balance between the two forces of justice, hard truths are revealed and old wounds are reopened.

    BATMAN: UNDER THE RED HOOD will be distributed July 27, 2010 by Warner Home Video as a Special Edition version on Blu-Ray and 2-disc DVD, as well as being available on single disc DVD, On Demand and for Download.

    This is looking pretty good, with a great lineup of voice actors. I've been pleasantly surprised at how "mature" the content has been with regards to violence, etc. in the last few films, so this one could really capture the dark tone of the story. Guess I'll find out next Friday at SDCC!
