As revealed in our Q&A with NECA's Randy Falk late last year, their Deluxe Electronic EXORCIST Box Set had experienced some setbacks "due to the economy and lack of specialty retail support". That is not to say that the collectible, depicting the iconic scene of a head-turning possessed Regan, was canceled. Randy further stated in our interview that "We're going to try again for 2010 as it is a set we're very proud of and we know a lot of collectors want to own it."

That time has come as select retailers are now accepting pre-orders on this eagerily awaited set (available for pre-order now at ToyWiz.com). Randy Falk has confirmed with us that the set is indeed slated for release this fall (September/October) priced for under $39.99. The Deluxe Electronic EXORCIST Box Set will feature motorized head spinning action and will play sounds from the classic 1973 horror film.
