The latest issue of Comic-Con/Wondercon magazine (comic-con.org/wc) hints at upcoming Wondercon exclusives that are sure to please Blackest Night figure fans. The magazine states:
For those who don't remember, DC Comics and Graphitti made quite the splash at SDCC 2009 with an exclusive set of Hal Jordan figures representingNew Blackest Night Figures at WonderCon! As of press time, WonderCon has learned that DC Comics and Graphitti Designs will be offering two new Blackest Night action figures that will premiere at the event. While the actual identity of the figures and their designs are top secret, we can tell you that this pair continues the set that was introduced - and sold out! - at Comic-Con International San Diego last summer.
the character in each of five of the Lantern Corps: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green and Blue. Due to ridiculously small edition numbers and a huge number of hoops to jump through in order to win the opportunity to buy them, the Jordans sold out immediately. What does all of this mean for WonderCon?
Well, if the line continues strictly as is, we're looking at the possibility of two more Hal Jordans. We haven't yet seen him as an Indigo or Violet Lantern, but neither of those really seem feasible. More likely will be Black Lantern (the "living" variety like Wonder Woman, Superman, Green Arrow, etc.) and White Lantern versions, both of which would be very cool. Alternatively, we could be seeing other characters coming into the rainbow, like any of the Black Lanterns or Sinestro as a White Lantern. Whatever these figures turn out to be, they will be very highly sought after by Green Lantern and Blackest Night fans everywhere.
