In the time that it took the Lion Force Voltron to form a Blazing Sword, Vehicle Voltron (also known as Voltron 1) was still working on forming an arm. The Voltron 1 team consisted of fifteen members, who in turn were divided into three teams of five. That's a whole lot of Voltron.

Despite its cumbersome construction, Vehicle Voltron is a great robot design and an iconic character of the animated series. Pictured above is a new image of Toynami's Voltron 1 vinyl collectible figure that we first told you about at Toy Fair. This 9-inch tall figure is being solicited in the March issue of Diamond's PREVIEWS priced at a SRP of $35.99. Land, Sea, and Air Teams assemble this May.
