TF14: McFarlane's The Walking Dead
TV Series 6, Comic Series 3, New Rick Statue and 10" Rick...
AMC's The Walking Dead is back on air and continues to draw legions of fans. McFarlane Toys has been along for the successful ride with an assortment of comic and TV based action figures, each wave better than the last (in terms of sculpt, articulation AND character options). Toy Fair displayed numerous new Walking Dead collectibles from McFarlane including:
- TV Series 6 - Slated for release this October, McFarlane teased fans with a prototype for a new Rick action figure. You'll have to hang on a bit longer to find out the rest of the line up!
- Comic Series 3 - Previously revealed as control art (see our story HERE), this comic based character assortment will star Andrea, Rick, Punk Rock Zombie - all shown at Toy Fair in painted prototype form. Look for them this June!
- Shane #2 - To tie fans over until TV Series 6, McFalrane will be releasing this June a new version of Shane. Called a "TV Solid," this will be a separate figure release, not associated with a Series, that will present the character with a new sane expression.
- New Rick Statue - A wild comic book Rick resin statue with a one-handed Rick fighting off a swarm of zombies.
- 10" Rick - Fans can never have enough Rick! In addition to the comic-based statue, McFarlane will be releasing the Walking Dead hero as their next 10" Deluxe Figure (following the very popular Daryl). Look for him this October.
- Blu-ray Season 4 Tree Walker Special Edition Case - Each new season of The Walking Dead has been treated to a cool McFarlane promo piece. Last year's Governor zombie head display case was insanely awesome, but it has some competition with upcoming Season 4! Just check out all that detail (pictured below)! Look for it this June!

That Shane is supposedly going to be a TRU and internet exclusive
The Mcfarlane store has TV series 6 listed as Rick, Carol, Herschel, Abraham, Bungie guts zombie.
I don't understand why Mcfarlane wasn't more forthcoming in their interviews since these are already up for pre-order in a lot of places?
