Before their extensive 8" Universal Monsters series, Sideshow Toys rolled out the classic creatures in their adorable "Little Big Head" format. Measuring 2 inches tall, the line borrowed heavily from Japan's popular super deformed figures - each character sculpted as a caricature of itself with itty bitty limbs, small body and, well, a big head. The Universal Monster Little Big Heads were a huge hit, spawning numerous waves in both full color and retro black and white, in addition to various exclusives and silly side lines, such as Monster Shredders. Pictured is the series that started it all.
