Hot Toys' latest figure announcement is likely to have many American collectors scratching their heads. Don't feel bad, I'm one of them. Presenting the newest addition to Hot Toys' 1:6th scale M Icon series: Leslie Cheung.
Hot Toys explains that Leslie Cheung Kwok-wing was one of the most influential film actors and singers from Hong Kong. In memory of and paying tribute to Leslie Cheung, Hot Toys will be the first company to exclusively produce his likeness on a 1:6th scale figure. The Leslie Cheung M Icon figure will feature the actor/singer wearing his trademark black suit and will include a director's chair... as being a movie director was a life-long dream of his.
