Spawn's long reign in the action figure aisle reached an abrupt end with this final assortment of "Classics". The concept behind the line was brilliant: Update previously released fan-favorite characters with new and improved modern sculpts. The execution, however, was a mixed bag. Poacher's redesign was widely considered cool, but his much smaller "pygmy elephant" scale wasn't. The new Manga Spawn, while creative, was primarily panned by fans - resembling more of a futuristic sports car than a bada$$ killer robot.
Here's hoping that Series 34 isn't truly "the end" for Spawn and that the supernatural superhero makes a comeback with a Series 35.
