Cast-a-Way Toys announces that they have secured the rights to 1:6 scale and 1:9 scale figures for the FLASH GORDON serials starring the original film action hero "Buster" Crabbe as Flash Gordon.
Originated as a limited edition figure by the designers at Go Hero, Cast-A-Way Toys is taking Flash Gordon on a new adventure. The new adventures begin with a first ever "Action Pilot" Flash Gordon (pictured top). Direct from the serial, this limited edition version comes dressed in high quality aviator gear, complete with soft flight helmet, goggles and topped off with a leather style bomber jacket. Included in the set is the alternate lightning bolt costume. The lightning bolt costumed Flash Gordon can also be purchased by itself. Both versions of Flash are available now through castawaytoys.com priced at $129.99 and $99.99, respectively.
Coming soon will be a 1:9 scale Buster Crabbe as Flash Gordon. Cast-A-Way Toys and Go Hero are also developing 1:6 and 1:9 versions of Charles Middleton as Ming the Merciless.
