This summer, Hollywood returns to the Planet of the Apes franchise with Rise of the Apes. Not a whole lot is known about the movie at this point except that it appears to be a prequel depicting, well, the rise of the apes. But does the world need another remake, reboot or re-imaging? Tim Burton certainly thought so, and look how well that did (45% on Rotten Tomatoes).
Personally, I am quite content with the 1968-1973 originals, "Beneath" being my favorite in the series. Sure, film technology has come a long way, but the best CGI will never replace these visionary classics. Or Charlton Heston.

I thought the only worthwhile thing out of this line was the escape pod. Simple but sleek and streamlined. Somehow a Snake Eyes figure ended up piloting mine! :D

Exactly! Actually that is what this Card Back is from - the escape pod. Pretty cool ship. I love how it opens up to reveal Pericles inside, who comes out and has a removable space helmet. Like peeling back an onion of coolness:)
