Applying for coverage is easy. You can download an application online or call 888-837-9537 and they are happy to email, fax or mail you one. The application includes questions regarding:
* Your collection and how it is stored
* What types of records you have for your collection
* Information about your premise (where you keep the collection)
And unlike homeowners insurance, we do not require an itemized list or receipts and appraisals. You estimate the value of your collection and determine the amount of insurance. Replacement value of your collection is determined by the adjuster at the time of claim. A schedule is only required for individual items valued at $5,000 or greater. Collectibles Insurance Services strongly recommends an inventory to expedite claims in the event of a loss.
