The latest Ani*Statue from Kotobukiya comes from a little-known manga and anime series statside called Yozakura Quartet. Created by Suzuhito Yasuda, the series follows a group of characters employed at the Hiizumi Life Counseling Office with the goal of helping and protecting the residents of the town of Sakurashin where humans and youkai (demons) live peacefully in coexistance. Hime Yarizakura is the main female protagonist, a youkai, and mayor of the city.
