Hot Toys wastes no time revealing their new 1:6th scale Captain America movie action figure. Teased last Saturday, the figure depicts Chris Evans as Captain America in his hero costume from the movie, the collectible highlighting a newly developed head sculpt, highly detailed costume and weapons.
MMS156 - Captain America: The First Avenger features:
- Authentic and detailed fully realized likeness of Chris Evans as Captain America in his hero costume in the Captain America: The First Avenger movie
- Helmeted head
- Muscular body with over 30 points of articulations
- Nine (9) pieces of interchangeable gloved palms including: -* One (1) pair of palms for holding shield
* One (1) pair of palms for wielding shield
* One (1) right palm for holding gun

Holy crap. Say what you want about the costume, but don't deny that that is an amazing-looking figure. I'm surprised he doesn't comes with an alternate Rogers head, helmet, or the bomber jacket we saw in the trailers. Maybe another version is coming out down the line.
I've never owned a Hot Toys, but this is just incredible. Are they pretty durable?

Yeah, they hold up very well, and for the $150+ they charge now, they best be well made:) Care needs to be taken on some parts/ details, like small buckles, straps, etc. They are more for high-end display, but they aren't gonna fall apart in your hands. You need at least one Hot Toys figure in your collection - it will forever change how you view toys in general. Just insane detail and craftsmanship.
