Diamond Select Toys surprises Trekkies with the announcement that a revised fifth assortment of Star Trek: The Original Series action figures will be released this year. Slated to ship this August, this wave includes Captain James T. Kirk in Green Dress Shirt, Scotty and a Romulan. Hoo man, I have been waiting for this Romulan forever! Good news.

Next I'm waiting for Yeoman Rand and Nurse Chapel.

And will the elusive Salt Vampire ever get released???

(And then there's Gul Dukat. And... And...)

Well, even if it's just a trickle I'm still soooo happy there are figs from this line still coming out.

--Now what about those currently MIA Stargate and Battlestar Galactica figs too? :p

Oh yeah, and the Romulan Kirk and eyebrow-raised Spock are loooong overdue too. I really need those too.
