Of the half a dozen or so toy companies present at this year’s WonderCon, none had as impressive a booth as Bluefin, the stateside distributor for Bandai and other Japanese properties. Their usual display case-enclosed booth offered plenty to see and enjoy, while inside there were walls of products to purchase. On display was everything from Gundams to One Piece, Tiger & Bunny, Saint Cloth Myth, Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and much more.
While it wasn’t exactly timely for the current show, last year’s SDCC diorama of Godzilla S.H.MonsterArts figures attacking the San Diego Convention Center was a huge hit with visitors. Bluefin even had a convention exclusive, the new Dragonball Z Super Saiyan 3 Goku! Offered first at WonderCon, this awesome addition to the DBZ line will be available in stores later this year and features the usual authentic sculpting, extreme poseability, and cool accessories like an energy halo.
