TF13: Monogram Marvel
Banks, Light Up Paperweights, And More From Marvel Collection...
Monogram is well known for its great collection of fun collectibles, especially those capturing the iconic superheroes and villains of Marvel Comics. Your one stop shop for everything from keychains to hefty bust banks, Monogram has you covered. This year at Toy Fair they showed off plenty of cool new products on the way for 2013. A new line of light up paperweights bring the hardware of the Marvel comics universe to your desk, starting with Thor’s hammer Mjolnir from the upcoming sequel Thor The Dark World! This impressive item features a solar-powered base with light up Thor logo and removable hammer. Next up will be the Iron Man 3 Light Up Palm paperweight capturing the armored Avenger’s hand, also solar powered.
Monogram’s line of Marvel bust banks continues this year with a massive Hulk, flexing his huge muscles. Also on the way is a classic comic book Iron Man with studded breastplate, banded gloves, and iconic helmet. Meanwhile, the latest release (joining recent busts like Spider-Man, Venom, Deadpool, black suit Spider-Man, Wolverine, Red Hulk, Cap, Thor, Iron Man) is the powerful and ruthless Doctor Doom resplendent in his silvery armor and green cloak!
Pewter lapel pins will feature Marvel characters and logos; we saw artwork for the Avengers logo, Mjolnir, S.H.I.E.L.D., Captain America’s shield, Iron Man’s hand and helmet, and Spider-Man’s mask. The Marvel Miniature Alliance eraser collection continues this year with foil packs and balls. Similarly, Monogram has more Marvel characters lined up for their pewter keyrings, lanyards, and more.
Finally, we even got a sneak peek at artwork for the next three Marvel pvc figure sets. The “Clocktower Battle” sees Captain America, Spider-Man, Venom, and Iron Man explode into action with great poses and cool destroyed terrain bases. Meanwhile, the Avengers brings us new versions of Hawkeye, Thor, Loki, and Hulk and “Ammo Warehouse” serves up fan favorites Punisher, Wolverine, Deadpool, and Ghost Rider doing what they do best!
